The goal of this Info Day is to raise awareness of the upcoming Alliance for Language Technologies and Open-Source Foundation Model calls and to give relevant stakeholders the opportunity to identify potential collaborators.
The advent of generative AI, exemplified by models like ChatGPT, represents a transformative moment in Language Technologies, having broad impact on innovation. These Digital Europe actions aim to build an ecosystem around large language and AI models in Europe that will provide better autonomy for the use and sharing of European data.
The Info Day will provide additional information regarding these calls such as requirements, how your organisation can benefit and tips on how to apply.
The event is organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology. During the dedicated info day, the participants will have the possibility to ask questions live.
The call has a planned opening date of 29 February 2024 with a closing deadline of 29 May 2024.
