SNS JU Institutional Partnership Launched 2026 Calls
The institutional partnership European Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) under the Horizon Europe programme has launched its 2026 calls for proposals to support project implementation with the aim to:
• Foster collaboration, knowledge exchange and dissemination among previously funded projects, work closely with SNS JU, the European Commission and the 6G Smart Networks and Services Industry Association (6G-IA), and organise the EuCNC & 6G Summit conferences in 2027–2028.
• Prepare a common European roadmap and action plan for 6G devices, supporting the strengthening of Europe’s industrial capacity in developing 5G/6G devices for different markets and use cases.
• Strengthen EU–India cooperation in the field of 6G.
• Collect, generate and validate datasets for training artificial intelligence models for 6G networks and Artificial Intelligence as a Service (AIaaS).
• Develop and advance the Smart Networks and Services (SNS) experimental platform for 5G/6G research, testing and innovation.
The deadline for proposal submission is 29 April 2026. The calls are open to project consortia, with funding rates ranging from 70–90% for for-profit legal entities and up to 100% for non-profit organisations.
