European Quantum Week 2020: catch up with Europe's quantum community
European Quantum Week (EQW) is an online event that will run from 2 to 6 November 2020, in parallel with the Berlin Science Week.
EQW is organised by the Quantum Technologies Flagship, the EU-funded research and innovation initiative in quantum technologies. Open to all, it will present what the Flagship's projects have achieved so far since its launch in the autumn of 2018, but will also provide a broad overview of recent developments in Europe's community of quantum researchers.
The EQW agenda includes specialist discussions, but also events aimed at the general public: take a look at the EQW website to find out more about the individual sessions and how to connect to them.
Throughout the week, EQW outreach events targeting secondary school students and anyone who is curious about quantum will be held across Europe. Researchers will explain what quantum technologies are and how they could soon be used in a huge range of applications in many different fields.
