The MNE EUROSENSORS 2022 will be the 48th Conference in a series that started in Cambridge in 1975. Micro and Nano Engineering (MNE) is the core international conference focusing on micro- and nano-fabrication, manufacturing techniques, as well as applications of the fabricated micro/nanostructures, devices and microsystems into electronics, photonics, energy, environment, chemistry and life sciences.
In September 2022, MNE EUROSENSORS 2022 will return to Leuven in Belgium and is jointly organized with Eurosensors, leading to an exceptional event tagged as MNE-ES 2022. It also embeds the Plasma Etch and Strip for Microtechnology (PESM) workshop as well as special sessions on Superconducting Micro- and Nano-Devices (SMND).
The 4-day conference format includes 4 parallel sessions, seven plenary talks, invited presentations (find all guest speakers here), oral and poster presentations (evaluated by our international Technical Program Committee), a commercial exhibition, tutorials on Monday afternoon, and several awards.
After the conference, the MNE EUROSENSORS 2022 Committees encourage authors to submit papers (regular, accelerated publications, reviews or news and opinions) to 4 thematically focused issues of Micro and Nano Engineering (MNE by Elsevier) related to the conference topics. The Micro and Nano Engineering journal is the open-access counterpart of the famous Microelectronic Engineering journal also edited by Elsevier.
Elsevier also sponsors the annual Young Investigator Award, which will be attributed at the conference. MNE EUROSENSORS 2022 has two related conferences (EIPBN) in the USA, and (MNC) in Japan. It is a tradition that the author of the “Best Paper” of at least one of these related conferences is invited at MNE.
