European Green Deal will arguably bring a boom of electric vehicles. Consequently, this will open many new opportunities for the power grid, but it will set up new challenges as well. The way of charging these vehicles could bring the solution through smart technologies, interoperable data management and by removing the existing barriers.
Both the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) and the AIOTI published recently papers on Electric Vehicles integration to try to find answers to the challenges and to find ways to seize the opportunities.
