Ideal-ist welcomes the four new region coordinators

They will stimulate the participation/coordination of NCPs and other organizations from several countries in their respective world area (India-Asia, Mexico-America, Egypt-Africa, Belarus-CIS)

will act in the future as coordinator for the region Eastern Europe, Middle East/South Mediterranean area, Asia (emerging economies) and South America.
By contract amendment these countries got involved as beneficiaries from other world areas (India-Asia, Mexico-America, Egypt-Africa, Belarus-CIS), with the task of representing (and stimulating the participation/coordination of) NCPs and other organizations from several countries in their respective world area. 
They are responsible for the following activities:

Identification of national ICT relay organizations and European projects in their regions, regular verification and publication of contact details  
Helping other Ideal-ist members of the region in adopting the best practices discussed within WP2 in replying to open partner searches on ideal-ist.net
Handling the partner searches emitted from their region with work package 5 leader support and supervision if necessary
To coordinate a delegation visit of 4-5 top class researchers from the region to Europe to attend an international ICT event. Means planning and assuring the financial sponsoring. Ideally the researchers should get funding from his/her country.

All four new cooridnators presented well prepared their regional plans in June in front of the European Comission in front of the reviewer.
