| Investigating the interaction of ultrafast laser radiation with condensed matter, actually we detect the electronic response of laser-excited Au films, applying time- & space resolved ellipsometry, and comparing with simulations on the electronic and thermophysical dynamics, we got an understanding on the process of heating, melting & ablation of thin metal films.
